Jennifer Gomric Minton is the St. Clair County Assessor.  She was elected Assessor in November 2010.  Prior to that, she served for seven years on the Board of Review hearing taxpayers’ property assessment complaints.   Jennifer earned her Certified Illinois Assessor Officer designation in 2005 and the advanced designation of CIAO- Intermediate through the Illinois Property Assessment Institute in 2012.  Jennifer has served on the Executive Board of the Chief Assessment Official Association since 2016 and is currently the President. She is also a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers.

As the Assessor of St. Clair County, Jennifer oversees the daily operations of the Assessor's Office.  The Assessor's Office is responsible for assuring that property in St. Clair County is assessed fairly and equitably.

Jennifer and her husband, Donnie, live in Belleville with their three children: Luke, Walter and Matthew.
